Nestling in the picturesque Bay of Citara, the Punta Imperatore Hotel is only a few strides away from the seashore. The hotel has a breathtaking view and provides a perfect vantage point from which to admire the spectacular Forio sunsets. There are diving and snorkelling facilities in the marine protected area known as the “Kingdom of Neptune” where you can explore the luxuriant seagrass meadows of Posidonia and the wonderful Mediterranean wildlife. An oasis of sun-soaked peacefulness and lush nature
An ideal hideaway, this is where you can spend relaxing holidays in serene surrounds and a welcoming atmosphere, and the gorgeous gardens and large terraces provide a completely safe environment where you can unplug and enjoy an elevated experience. The hotel building and grounds occupy an area of about 2,000 square metres and have neither rugs nor carpets.
Ischia at your fingertips
It is right in the middle of the Citara bay and about 70 metres from the Gardens of Poseidon where you can unwind and regenerate yourself in one of the many thermal pools.
It is only a few minutes away from the splendid village of Sant’Angelo and the Sorgeto Bay where the water of the thermal baths mingles with the sea waves, providing bathers with immeasurable benefits.
The bus stop is extremely close by (15 metres) so it is easy to get back and forth from the Forio harbour (which has direct links to Naples) or to the centre of Forio about 2 km away (where you can do some afternoon shopping or pleasantly while the evening away in one of the many restaurants or clubs). You can take a taxi to get around the island or hire a scooter or car.

Our guests have access to an Ionised outdoor Pool with massaging water jets. Leave your worries behind and charge your batteries at the well-equipped Solarium where you can also treat yourself to a rejuvenating Massage.
There is an option of spa treatments at centres recognised by the Italian national health service with a complimentary shuttle service to and from the spa

Our hotel has always been exceptionally hygienic and spotlessly clean but for the 2020 season, we raised our standard even higher with sanitisation and disinfection operations that meet current recommendations.
The spaciousness of the grounds makes social distancing easy. No more than 7 people will be allowed in the swimming pool at a time in compliance with regulations in force.
Guests only enter the rooms once all sanitisation and disinfection operations have taken place with ozone and germicides in keeping with the strictest anti-Covid 19 protocols.
